The Vomitor site needs a new Webmaster! I'll have (sob) to leave soon, and since this site should be
mantained by someone inside the school, we are searching anyone having, say, at least half an hour weekly
or monthly, to be the new Webmaster.
It's duties would be to mantain it, digitalize new editions of Vomitor or similar stuff, and check
regularly the mailbox and eventually bring the printouts of important messages to the editors of
Vomitor.
The new Webmasters (of course it can be more than one person who care for this site) should like
to play with htmls, images and generally doing publishing.
You could experiment new layouts, new designs, effects. If you like scripting, do some, if
you are a designer-minded you can create new buttons, backgrounds, etc.
No special knowledge is requested. If you don't know what an html is, I'll tell you what
you need. Only thing which is indispensable is a simple access to Internet.
The target of the site should be mantained: For the one, to offer a web-mirror of the printed
magazine. On the other hand, since it is the only significant presence of our School on the Internet,
it should try give an impression of our school.
For example, I would have liked to add photographies of our school and the people in it, photo's of
partys, maybe something about Varese or so. But (hélas) the time went away a bit fast and I didn't
made it. It could be a point in which the new Webamster could extend this site.
If you are interested by the idea, you should search me at School (I am actually in 7D, but will soon
leave the school), or better send a mail from the Mail-page
of Vomitor, or writing directly to
edesign@mail.com. I will give you further explanations
if you wish, and introduce you into the secrets of the site, about how to control and manage it.
If you are not sure that you will manage it, but you are willing to try, there's no problem! I will
always be reacheable by mail (by the way, my direct mail address is edesign@email.com) and I will
always be available for explanations, or to check the pages for errors, or to help you in doing
some "dirty" work, like corrections, image optimizings, etc.
Think about it. I think it is very fun to develop a site like this, since you have always something
you can add, correct, ... and you can express your fantasy and capcities doing something useful.
You learn new things which can be very useful to yourself in future.
Hoping, that someone will ever read and think about this, I wish to the Vomitor Site a successfull
future, it's old webmaster and founder,
E.
